Long Weekend

Dear Parents,

Please be aware that due to the Easter holiday weekend, Playful Pals will not be open Friday April 10 or Monday April 13. We will resume our normal schedule Wednesday April 15. Thank-you for your understanding.

Week 6 - Bunnies and Baskets

We have many fun activities planned this week. We have an egg hunt game (plastic eggs NOT chocolate) planned and many fun crafts that involve the children's fine motor skills and creativity.

Week 5 - Friends of the Forest

This week the children will be learning all about the animals found in a forest. We have many fun surprises including one very special treat. This week, we will be viewing small segments of the Disney classic - Bambie. The movie reinforces the theme and teaches the children about the various animals and their habitats. We also have many fun games, songs and crafts planned.

Week 4 - Family Matters

This week the children will be learning all about different types of families and what families do together. We encourage parents to discuss who is a member of your family, as we will be discussing this with your children.

The crafts and games the children will be playing help develop their fine motor skills and hand eye co-ordination.

Parking

Parents, please be aware that Playful Pals is not permitted to park in the area designated "Daycare Parking". These spots are reserved for the parents of the children who attend PLASP. Playful Pals is also not permitted to park in the area designated "Staff Parking". These spots are reserved for office and secretarial staff.

Please park in the visitor parking lots around the school. If you need assistance, please ask Mrs. Short or Ms. Whitford.

Welcome Back

Welcome Back Little Buddies and Parents!

This is our first week back at playschool. Mrs. Short, Ms. Whitford and the Big Friends at Playful Pals are looking forward to meeting all of our new Little Friends. This week we will be learning all about numbers. Some of the activities include Chicka Chicka 1-2-3, and our Number and Letter Scrapbooks.

We hope you all enjoy your first week at playschool, and we look forward to many more.

Session II Registration Now In Progress

Playful Pals is now taking registration for session II beginning on Feb 23. If you are interested in our program please call to schedule a visit to our facility. We can be reached Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. You can also leave us a voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible.
