Week # 9 - My 5 Senses

This week the children will be learning about the 5 Senses (sight, sound, smell, touch and taste). The big buddies have many fun learning activities planned which incorporate creativity, fine and gross motor skill development.

Welcome to Playful Pals Playschool

Playful Pals Playschool has been in operation since 1995. Here at Playful Pals your child receives one on one support. Each child is paired with a "big friend" a high school student enrolled in the Family Studies program at John Fraser Secondary School. Each experience your child has is geared towards their interests and their abilities.

Playful Pals is a preschool that provides your child with an exciting learning and socialization experience, and prepares them for their future school experience in the Junior Kindergarten JK or Senior Kindergarten SK classroom. We provide a program of physical and creative activities that enable your child to grow and develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically.

Our preschool facility offeres a stimulating environment with 10 learning centres including many literacy and numeracy connections. Our centres involve the children with books, computers, art media, puzzles, blocks, role play materials and many more.

Our program runs in the morning from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 12:15 - 2:15 p.m.

The fall term is underway, but registration is still open for those who are interested. Children must be between the ages of 2 years and 5 years old. Registration forms are available at the school, which is located at 2665 Erin Centre Boulevard, Mississauga, ON. Playful Pals Playschool is located inside the main doors of the school on the left hand side (Rm. 111)
